Aging Well Series

Why attend Aging Well Series Educational Program?

Education is about learning to think - learning different ways to analyze a problem and find a solution.

Education Means:

  • To think critically.
  • To decide which of two conflicting statements is correct.
  • To recognize rubbish when one reads or hears it.
  • To evaluate the credibility of information, without depending on peer review or endorsement by experts.
  • To understand how to work with an expert (e.g., physician, attorney, and scientist), instead of being passive while the expert solves the problem.

Senior Health Partners began the 'Aging Well Series' in 2006. Since then it has become a key voice for health concerns in our community. Some of our most attended programs have been on topics of the heart, cancer, arthritis, and aging successfully. All 'Aging Well Series' are free, open to the public and most include lunch.
